Andrew Popplestone is the Global Executive Creative Director of Territory Studio.

He has overseen the creative at Territory since 2016 and in that time guided the studio's growth into a globally renowned creative force, delivering best in class content across advertising, experiential, media and entertainment.

With a career spanning 20 years in the creative industry, his work in entertainment and media has been prolific. Having worked with some of the worlds most iconic and renowned directors including Steven Spielberg, Denis Villeneuve, Ridley Scott, Matt Reeves, and Cary Joji Fukunaga with credits such as Dune Parts 1&2, The Batman, No Time To Die, Blade Runner 2049, Ready Player One and Ghost in the Shell. As well as working with global brands such as Nike, Apple, Marvel, CocaCola, WB, Adidas, Omega, Disney, EA Games, Playstation, F1, The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Nat Geo. 

Andrew has judged for D&AD and Creative Review and is a member of the Type Directors Club. He has been featured worldwide in numerous print and online platforms such as Engadget, Wired, Vice and Creative Review and received industry recognition from D&AD, Clios, Royal Television Society, Type Directors Club, and Promax.

As a creative, his background in fine art and graphic design combined with a love of craft and cinematic sensibility has developed a visual storytelling approach that combines compelling design, innovative visual effects and the human experience. The desire to explore the emotional resonance within a narrative, along with the physical interaction and human connection with technology is the driving force behind the pursuit of excellence, fresh perspectives and innovation in his role of ensuring and elevating the creative caliber across the studio.
